This place is amazing. If you are looking for a place that feels like home Gordon’s place is the choice. This place was much better than I expected and I was well satisfied. Walking distance to many restaurants and markets. The host was amazing. You can not go wrong with Gordon’s place.
My family and I have been using VRBO for many years now. Im not sure I have ever had a better host/owner. The unit was perfect for the 5 of us. The 3 teenage boys had 2 rooms and my husband and I had our own. The unit was spacious with all the amenities. The private deck and parking spot were so nice. The teenagers loved sitting on the deck in the evening. Monica and Gordon have made sure you have everything you need.
This is a wonderful place to stay in a beautiful neighborhood of a charming town. It is an authentic Victorian home updated for a modern era with taste. Hosts were friendly, respectful and helpful. No complaints whatsoever, highly recommended!
The location is great!! The house is awesome, plenty of space with everything you could need including a coin laundry downstairs. The ease of the entry and exit made it great as well. I highly recommend the space!!
Gordon's place is in a perfect location on a street that is not too busy but still only a couple blocks from downtown Alameda. The loft style apartment is the perfect place for a small family or group of friends. There was plenty of room and the beds were comfy. Gordon was very responsive and accommodating for our late checkin as well.

Great location, minutes walk from main street full of restaurants. very clean, convenient for the 6 of us, it had everything we needed - lots of towels, upgraded kitchen and comfortable beds and linen. great not having to worry about parking with the on premises free parking!!! host greeted us in person and gave us some info about the surrounding and recommendations. The only thing that we did not expect, was to carry luggage up the stairs into the apartment
Alameda was a great choice for the four of us to explore the Bay Area. It was very easy to get around and we were happy to have great restaurant options in Alameda when San Francisco got a bit hectic. Great hiking in the area. Gordon and Monica were kinda hosts and very easy to communicate with. The space was funky and well suited for our family.
